Financial claims

Someone owes you money? We pursue it from the first demand to enforcement.

When you need us

  • Money you lent or paid that was not returned.
  • A bounced cheque, a promissory note or a bill of exchange.
  • A client or company late in paying your invoices.
  • A judgment or enforceable instrument in your favour that you want enforced.

What we do

  1. 1We review your documents and choose the right route: a demand, a claim, or direct enforcement if you hold an enforceable instrument.
  2. 2We send the written demand to the other party.
  3. 3If they do not pay, we file the claim or the enforcement request.

What to prepare

Anything that proves the amount, such as the contract, invoices, transfers, messages, or the cheque or note.

Fees

A percentage of the amount collected, paid after collection, as set in the contract.

Questions

I have no written proof. Can I still claim?

It depends on what you have, such as messages, transfers and witnesses. Send us what you have and we will give you our opinion.

How long does a case take?

It depends on the court, the type of claim and how the other party responds. We give you our estimate after reviewing the file.
